Angels of Vice began in the fall of 2009. Jigman, Markus and Xander had lost their drummer and lead vocalist from their former band Sagaval, which was a filipino based hard rock band. Marckus stood out with his girlish locks, his talent for slash like solos, and his inability to pronounce words in English. Xander, the straight "metro and extremely good looking guitarist", had the passion to write rock ballads and swoon the women. Jigman added the meaning of maturity to the band, while whipping up the best adobo every practice. He is the glue to the band and keeps everyone grounded. The boys knew that they would need to find new band members to help them make their way back of what rock used to be. Asil Mongellousi was the first one to respond to their ad for a drummer having previously shared the stage with her last band Paradise. The boys knew having a hot drummer chick with tattoos would help their rock n’ roll image, especially when she hits the skins like a monster. Her creative control with being able to write songs on guitar would quickly get everyone on the map with the first single “The Nerve”. Despite her dirty antics of being able to out drink the Australian rugby team, she no longer has to make her money off of little kids at arcade ski ball. After countless auditions for a front man, they came across the insanely devilish Speed Nielsen from his previous band A Place To Call home. With his talent to blow girls panties off with his showmanship and presence, his crotch thrusts and Iron Maiden screams made his audition the final piece. The Angels knew he was the self indulged prima dona lead singer that they would need to fit their image. Angels of Vice was finally complete, armed and ready to burn everything down in their way.
