After releasing its first Various Artist compilation, Sync Forward strikes back with a bang, welcoming Madson Scaut once again to the label. Offering us a techno-style bending three-track EP with a remix by Ronny Vergara, a label first, Madson doesnt disappoint taking you deeper and deeper into what is a well accomplished piece of work. The first one Haunted Factory is an epic, synth hypnotic composition with a menacing percussion and almost psychedelic stylishness that drives your imagination under a rumbling groove. The flip side Resistance, darkens the mood with a transforming soundscape of Fxs and intimidating pads and a soaring arpeggiated synth line exemplifying a beautiful execution of production techniques. The last original arrangement Candy, reveals a seductively soporific driving beat floating with a grinding sub bass and stripped back percussion, filled with eccentric energy. Last but not least is Ronny Vergara reinterpretation of Haunted Factory. From the moment the opening kick starts you know youre on your way to a treat. Great techno solid arrangement, that just takes you by surprise with the synths acting as an anchor to the drums melody and texture, concluding with an insanely gruesome breakdown. Each tracks discloses a little more on each listen, supported by the unfathomable production work, done largely by Madson at his headquarters in Portugal.
