In late 2009 I, Mike Sax joined ♫ UK SUPER RASCAL UK ♫ .. and at that time the duo of super rascal consisted of John Lovatt and Jo Borda . Amy Louisa and I joined at the same time. John suggested I make a CD of my own songs. I answered with I only have seven songs. Amy Louisa and I had collaborated writing the 7 songs. John said he would write a couple of songs for me, I said: write something a bit rocky please. Within a week John had written a rock song. I recorded the vocal track and said that’s fantastic; it’s going to be the title track. ♫ LONELY MAN ♫ .. Now can you write me a traditional country song ( the story to the song is on my facebook ). A few days later John phoned me saying, come and record the vocals, which I did, I said that’s another fantastic song its going to be the third track ♫ ENGLISH COUNTRY COWBOY ♫ .. and the rest is history.
