Recorded in 1997, but never released until now, Throw Back is the spark that has ignited the desire in SEVEN to get back to basics. Born out of living and growing up in Albany NY, SEVEN has that authentic sound and raw energy that you've been looking for in your music. Now, back in the studio recording their first track in a number of years, “No Tomorrow” was a long time coming, but inevitable. It's the love of music that drives SEVEN to make time to produce music. While Hip Hop is the current focus it is by no means the SEVEN's limit. Setting up feature projects with new artists to expand the scope and focus of SEVEN is the future, but it is happening now. Shawn Perry, (of SEVEN), recalls a time when "we simply enjoyed the music, not the political stuff; it's not about the 'bling', the media buzz, or the life style". Shawn believes it was best when it was about the lyrics, the music, the beat. The positive effects, for SEVEN, is reflected in their boosted confidence in their ability to consistently bring good music, good Hip Hop back to the forefront, back to where it used to be, where it should be. Not just noise to fill the air waves.
