"There's no place like home” and "存在的意义" music and video productions are personal projects done by Charlyn Too and Audris Ho. A lot of efforts was spent in this project going through music production, video production and Indiegogo campaign. Audris and Charlyn are delighted that their personal dedicated songs are now officially accepted by the SG50 Committee under SG50 Youtube Channel "Ground Up Projects”! "There's no place like home" was released on Youtube on 16 July 2014 and received positive support from the general public. It was featured on TV program 前线追踪 Frontline Mediacorp Channel 8, 8 Aug 2014, 8pm (special NDP episode) and screened at Eunos National Day Observance Ceremony 2014. The melody was written by Audris Ho and the lyrics was by Charlyn Too. Having received encouraging feedback from the general public, Charlyn and Audris decided to extend their project to year 2015. Charlyn wrote the Chinese version "存在的意义“ lyrics and together with "There's no place like home", they are specially dedicated to SG50 releasing on 1 May 2015. "There's no place like home" is sung by Audris Ho and "存在的意义“ is sung by Charlyn Too. Both English and Chinese versions of the song are arranged and produced by Lin Si Tong (Haha Music). Funds for music videos were raised through Indiegogo campaign. It was to Audris' and Charlyn’s pleasant surprise that with the support from MP Lee Bee Wah, Hen Yi Qi from Shin Min Daily News interviewed Charlyn while Audris is based in Glasgow. Their campaign was featured in Shin Min Daily News (新明日报) on 22 March 2015 prominently on the second page. The music videos were directed by Melvin Betaphats.
