Hello, my name is David Firth and I make music under various names. Locust Toybox is music I make with real instruments, computers, samples and a bit of my voice. I try and sound like nothing else but I'm sure it'll remind you of something. I started this album in 2012, and for the most part is has been gathering digital dust until mid 2013 when I put some time in and decided to make all the half discarded scraps into something. I use Locust Toybox music in almost all of my cartoons (Salad Fingers, Sock, Spoilsbury Toast Boy etc.) but this album is not just background ambience - it is meant for listening to. Some of the songs are quite upbeat. I make music that I would want to hear. This is a follow up to the 2011 album "Noon" - a lot has happened to me since then. I feel my sound has changed quite a bit since then, but it's still recognisable as Locust Toybox. Ok that is enough notes, I have nothing else to talk about.
