Capita Clip is a New York rock band once raised on Long Island & now based out of Brooklyn's King Killer Studios. Not quite easily pigeon-holed within the standard genre categories, their diverse influences with a common thread materialized are breeding a new classification even now. Rock with funk overtones & jazz undertones... Improvisational, but more aggressive than your average "jam band"... heavy & heady, fun & angry... and even the love songs can make a skull bang forward & back with energy to liven a party or kill a set in the best way possible.

The band consists of Ryan Quinn on guitar, Justin Rothblat on drums, Vinnie Imbasciani on vocals and Bill Fitzgerald on bass. This lineup of longtime friends has been playing music together for years, both in this project & others, until the current lineup of Capita Clip formed in June of 2009. Since then the band has taken every opportunity to showcase their sound locally, playing shows around NY-metro area since December 2009 at venues including the Bellhouse, Public Assembly, & the Glasslands. Their recently recorded first EP, entitled 'Bismuth', is a dynamic and groove heavy sample of their wares, which they plan on showcasing around their sacred hometurf & places further, throughout the year & beyond.
