London based producer and DJ Dan Westlake aka Westlake72 starts of the new year with the enjoyable three tracker 'Be My Disco *****! EP'. Dan's sound borrows liberally from the history of club and dance music, mixing and matching eras to create his own contemporary sonic palette, sighting the early and mid 80s New York post-disco producers such as Darryl Payne and Paul Simpson in particular as key influences.
