She possesses an anointing that has proven to be a blessing to all who witness her minister through music. Jennifer was born and reared in Bronx, New York and began singing at a very early age. She sang her first solo, “I’m Looking for A Miracle” (The Clark Sisters) at the tender age of three. Over the years, she nurtured her gift and as she got older, many came to realize the unique sound that emanates from Jennifer. Her gift is strongly rooted in the church and it is there that she has blessed the hearts of many. In addition, she also grew up singing in local singing groups as well as city-wide Mass choirs. Upon relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, Jennifer joined Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, where she is an active and vital part of the music ministry. In addition to serving in the choirs of Beulah, Jennifer is a praise and worship leader. On any given Sunday, Jennifer answers the call of duty to minister to God’s people. Her vocal ability is a unique blend of gospel, soulful and Neo-soul tones. Her rich contralto sound sets her apart and makes her a favorite of many. Jennifer has been always been a willing vessel eager to be used in Christ’s service. She has been privileged to partner in ministry with several recording artists, including Juanita Bynum, Kurt Carr, Darwin Hobbs, Jonathan Nelson, LaShun Pace, Sha Simpson, and Hezekiah Walker, just to name a few. She has also provided vocals for a number of stage plays including “Jesus Christ Superstar Gospel”, “Handel’s Soulful Messiah” and “The Promised One”. Although blessed to provide background vocals to these gifted artists, Jennifer greatly anticipates the future when she is able to perform as a solo artist. Jennifer is currently working on her first studio project, which promises to be a a true praise and worship experience. She takes advantage of every opportunity to use her gift to touch the hearts of others. She enjoys leading others into the presence of God and believes that her gift is not about her, but about blessing others. Jennifer considers it an honor to sing and recognizes that she has been graced for such a time as this. She strives to live daily according to the mantra, “If I can help somebody as I pass along, if I can cheer somebody with a word or song, if I can show somebody he is traveling wrong, then my living shall not be in vain.”
