*Messenjah Releases New Single From forthcoming Album * “*We've Had It”* Legendary Canadian reggae group Messenjah has just released a new single through CD Baby and iTunes entitled “We've Had It”. Written by Rupert Harvey – the groups lead singer – and the band, the rock reggae “We've Had It” was recorded in Toronto and produced by the band. Reconstituted in early 2014, Messenjah was originally formed in 1980. As the first Canadian reggae band signed to a major label (Warner Music), Juno Award-winning Messenjah became a major influence on successive generations of reggae bands, including the chart-topping, internationally renowned Magic! (as outlined in a Rolling Stone story this summer). Touring all over North America and the Caribbean, as well as appearing in several movies ( including 1988's /Cocktail – /starring Tom Cruise), Messenjah is Canada's most popular reggae group.
