简介
In 1998 Pat Hodges came to the attention of composer, producer Peitor Angell while he was working on the score to the film, THE VELOCITY OF GARY, with Vincent D'Onofrio and Selma Hayek. Impressed with what he heard, he proceeded to write and record 10 songs for her - 3 of which would be released as Club Dance singles which all reached the top of the Billboard Club Charts in 2001, 2002 and 2003 respectively. They were, "You Make Me Feel G-O-O-D" (BB#20), "Love Revolution"(BB #9) (featuring The Sweet Inspirations) and "Saving My Love" (BB #3). They also recorded several ballads, including the ballad written for the end of the film THE VELOCITY OF GARY which she had originally contributed background vocals on. For this song - they decided to reunite HODGES, JAMES & SMITH (for the first time recording together in 20 years) to cut the background vocal track. Since the time of these recordings, a film documentary was done titled, THIS TIME which features a number of these songs and some of the recording sessions as well as some of Pat Hodges' Live performances.
