Not your average vocalist with accompaniment, Alikat is a music collage of sounds that seem to epitomize the word funk. Composed of vocalist and songwriter Kat Alano and producer Allen Umali, Alikat is a refreshing dose of attitude and spunk in the all too predictable ever so monochromatic world.

Alano, a former MTV VJ and electronica muse, is the voice of the duo; while Umali is the man behind the funky rhythms and groove. As a duo they aspire to transcend musical commercialism and reach people on a higher level through messages of love, light and change; hoping to inspire evolution and freedom whilst showing the world what Filipino music is made of.
