For the debut release on the Hot Tape label we have Ash Damree. Coming off three great bumpy deep house releases over the last year, the London based producer decided to take things a bit deeper with his 'Eyes Closed EP'. Smooth vocals and catchy chord stabs kicks things off with 'Nobody' then followed by 'Feelings' which continues the same theme with more silky female vocals and a heavily groove driven beat. The final title track 'Eyes Closed' is not your average deep house track as Ash has enlisted the help of Saxephonist Diane McLoughlin to add a layer of improvised soul which sits beautifully alongside the overdriven Rhodes chords, Vocals and low end bass. To say we at are happy with our first release is an understatement.
