melancholics are a groove oriented jam band based in las vegas. they have recorded and released four studio albums and many compilations. the band performs regularly in the southwest, from shows at the hard rock hotel and house of blues to industry festivals and showcases. in 2002, the band scored a soundtrack single for a tony hawk skateboard video and were finalists in the gig magazine best unsigned band competition. recent reviews of the new disc happy ones have been outstanding.
