Human Rias is back on his own 7Rituals label with more well-crafted grooves on the new Alley of Darkness EP. Human has a had a very exciting 2023, becoming the first person to both open and close the world-renowned EXIT Festival, amongst many other shows, and producing numerous productions of the highest order. Alley Of Darkness has a dark sense of energy with enthralling voices panning about the mix but then a soulful vocal emerges to bring extra warmth. The drums are sharp and the synths slowly unfurl to bring moodiness to the grooves that will make a real impact. Timber then has more progressive melodies that radiant light and a sense of futurism over turbulent beats. Background pads keep things on the move and an epic breakdown will send shivers down the spine. These are two more standout tracks from this forward thinking artist.
