简介
Eastern Canada has produced many world-class performers and New Brunswick’s Kevin Chase is no exception. With two ECMA nominated albums under his belt, this songwriter and performer has, over the past decade, established himself as a solid fixture in the East Coast music scene. Chase has thrilled audiences all across Canada, and with the release of his third single, the title track off his ‘I Won’t Fall’ album, more and more Canadian Country fans are turning on to Kevin’s sound. Described as a cross between George Strait and Brad Paisley, Kevin Chase’s style also exhibits influences from such musicians as Garth Brooks and Keith Urban. His latest album ‘I Won’t Fall’ was nominated for a 2008 East Coast Music Award ‘Country Recording of the Year’. Recorded in Nashville, it is a collection of ten mid-tempo contemporary country tunes seven of which were penned by Chase himself. In particular the title track ‘I Won’t Fall’ is a powerful personal testament from Chase to all those who have ever considered giving up on their dreams. Chase has had some wonderful successes leading up to the release of 'I Won't Fall'. He has opened multiple dates for fellow Maritimers George Canyon and Chris Cummings to name a few and has had the pleasure of entertaining audiences across Canada from Newfoundland to Alberta. In 2004 his debut CD "Another Road" received an ECMA nomination for "Country Recording of the Year". The single "Brand New Man" off of this album had airplay across Canada and Europe. Also in 2004, Chase showcased at the ECMA's "Sneak Peak Rising Star" showcase. Since then he has performed at the ECMA's in 2005 (Country Music Showcase) and in 2006 (Music New Brunswick Showcase). 2007 proved to be an exciting year for Kevin Chase. 'It's A Long Way to Your Heart' was released in January to wonderful fan reaction. The follow-up tune 'The Rush', a NASCAR inspired anthem released in April, reached #44 on the top 100 Canadian Country Music News charts. With a wildly successful Maritime tour behind him (including a show with Aaron Pritchett), Chase is looking Westward to promote the 'I Won't Fall' album. This album is generating a lot of excitement with its strong Nashville sound, dynamic production, solid lyrics and of course that unmistakable voice that is all Kevin Chase.
