简介

Julian Littman Multi-talented musician, composer, actor and singer-songwriter Julian Littman is currently lead guitarist with folk rock pioneers "Steeleye Span" and has played, performed and written with the great and the good, from Gerry Rafferty,Barbara Dickson,Charlie Dore and Dexy's Midnight Runners to Sister Sledge and Phillip Bailey. Julian has also appeared in an abundance of TV & Film roles "Evita" (playing Evita's brother opposite Madonna) ("London Boulevard", "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers", "Baal" with David Bowie, to West End musicals such as Queen's "We Will Rock You." and "Return To The Forbidden Planet" and others too numerous to list. As an accomplished composer, Julian's career has a string of stage and screen credits stretching back to (and beyond!) Sheena Easton's 1984 US no. 4 hit "Strut", co-written with his long-time writing partner & friend Charlie Dore with whom he can also be seen performing during her tours. Having played, written and performed with a multitude of great songsmiths over the years Julian has finally released his own, personal, musical reflective. "There comes a time when the thought of doing your own record becomes an unstoppable reality and that's what's happened! Various life events meant that I had some real and resonant things to write about and a steely resolve to get them on record!" "Life's Rich Bloody Tapestry" is a vivacious collection of compositions from a man who has worked with an amazingly eclectic array of musicians and includes a track (Look At Me Now.) co-written with Gerry Rafferty. (One of Julian's life-long friends, and probably the last thing Rafferty wrote before his death in 2011) The album is a heady mix of melodic rock, with influences of everything from funk to folk. The album has a highly emotional, autobiographical story to tell and, as you listen, you get the sense of a soul that's been around and who will take you on very rich musical trip indeed!
