Original Bristol producer/musician (and tap dancer) Crackazat aka Ben J Worrall has something very special going on. After his move to Uppsala, Sweden and much hyped singles on Futureboogie, Astro Dynamics and here on Local Talk he’s now ready to drop his full length album Crescendo. Its an album that combines electronically enhanced house and downtempo beats with soulful and jazzy melodies. Imagine a cocktail of jazzy Underground Resistance or Floating Points blended with a soulful UK garage mentality. Overall Crescendo is an album that sounds very UK but at the same time crosses all kinds of musical borders to a wider international audience that doesn't mind joining the musical dots. The album places itself neatly into the current electronic music scene, but with strong references to an era when dance music was just a little bit more based around…music!
