The title track „La Nuit“ opens on a rolling TechHouse foundation and presents a masterly crafted array of spaced out, floating, analogue layers with a Trance-inducing, uplifting, yet retrofuturist attitude, catering beautiful female vocal samples and fragile, melodic abstractions perfectly underlining the eclectic attitude Taster Peter is loved for by crowds and DJ's all over the place. Following up is „Carnal Red“, revealing the sexier, pumping side of Taster Peter's musical works. Based on a fusion of hyper-seductive vocals, tender, all embracing sinewave bass movements and crystalline, transluscent piano speckles this is a perfect cut for intimate moments and wee hours on the dancefloor. Finally „La Nuit *Late Night Mix“ picks up on a variation of the title track again, taking the beauty of the original cut to even deeper levels, cruising through outer space nebulae whilst yearning non-vocalisms and huge, raw synth signals are passing by, followed by friendly organic bits of presumingly balearic origin.
