Josh West is a rising young star with a voice and musical style that is both moving and powerful. Hailing from Glendale, AZ , Josh co-writes original songs with his father. Writing songs since 2012, Josh turned professional at the age of 16 and is fully committed to a life as a recording and performing artist. His musical style is alternative pop rock with many other genres influencing his songwriting. Musical influences include U2, Switchfoot, Oasis, Beck, Relient K, The Fray, and Coldplay. His vocal style has often been compared to Jeff Buckley, Chris Martin, and Bono. Although Josh West has been working on his music for 3 years, he graduated from high school early due to his home schooling in November of 2013 to work full time on his music. With a constantly growing live performance schedule, Josh is rapidly gaining headway into the next level of his musical career.
