Lyricist and producer, Michael Morelli, created Enemy Self in 2012, not long after his former band, Manifest Nexto Me receded from the Burlington, Vermont music scene. Redefining the cerebral, progressive, trip hop sound that began with Manifest, Enemy Self released the well received album Evolution Kills, and created a live show that makes listeners question their definition of hip hop. Merging impressive lyricism, mid-90’s style hip hop, breaks, electro, and psychedelic instrumentals, Enemy Self bring something unique to the stage. Enemy Self is currently comprised of Michael Morelli (lyricist, producer), Jeremy Gartner (drums), and Michael Plante AKA DJ Transplante (turntables)
