CenterPeace is the creation of music producer & songwriter Dave Haddad, also a professional drummer and studio owner in the Los Angeles area. This CD “Global Chilling” is the second full length release from CenterPeace following “Songs from the Womb”. The CenterPeace sound is a byproduct of Dave's accomplishments in multi-cultural music further enriched by his extensive travels abroad. You may hear different styles within each song however all work well together to form a distinctive band sound. It would be difficult to choose one single genre or 'sound' which would describe the entire music catalog. CenterPeace music is groove music. Innovative drum and percussion arrangements with simple melodies, dynamic textures and many auditory surprises and pleasantries. "Global Chilling" is an all instrumental production, no vocal songs and all performances are live, there was no programming or samples used. A drum loop or two was used to complement the groove and a few songs have programmed arpeggios but all instruments were played live in the studio. This compilation is more experimental in its arrangements than the band’s first release "Songs from the Womb" (double CD with vocals and instrumentals). "Global Chilling" features inspiring guitar work, fantastic saxophone solos and mesmerizing rhythm tracks. This is great headphone music with each song building up to the next taking the listener higher with each track.... The CD begins with "Global Chilling Part 1", a peaceful, meditative track which quickly suck the listener in and the next thing you know you're on a journey through introspective and contemplative moments then back again to a fulfilling and invigorating listening experience. You have never before heard a sound quite like "CenterPeace".
