简介
I've been at this a long time. . My training came from the countless hours I spent listening to those big black vinyl discs. Played in a few bands along the way and still play out solo now and then. Like many mid 60's era musicians, I would have to say my influences are the likes of: The Beatles, The Animals, The Stones, Cream, The Allman Bros., Steppenwolf, and CSNY are probably my biggest influences. I love great sounding acoustic guitars, mixed with tasteful electrics, melodic vocals, and harmonies thrown in. My music is acoustic rock guitar based but there are a lot of electric guitars in and about. Most all my songs begin life on the acoustic and grow from there. I like to tell stories with lyric so you'll hear that in my songs. Music has been a very enjoyable part of my life and has allowed some very satisfying and personal expressions to come forward. Thanks for visiting and listening, Farrell Jackson. 08/14/13 09:34:56AM @Autopilot Club: Seed od a Tumbleweed - I Love these classic rock tunes you do, always combined with a good story. Strong hook and classy delivery from both, making this a most memorable listen. Is that lead played on the new VOX? Sounds like a stratocast..er ;-) Fynn 08/15/13 Pete Jon Tebar: Circle Circus is so original and fresh. I haven't heard anything like this, but I love it. Heck, different can be great sometimes, and this is a perfect example. Love the title, and the production overall is remarkable. Great job! Pete 08/15/13 12:04:17PM @Autopilot Club: Green Light is some good rockin` fun, catchy like all proper r`n`r are supposed to be! I hear traces of April Wine in here, love it! Fynn 08/18/13 09:05:26PM @Carol Sue: My face can't help but smile for you and Linda on this dear collaboration on Take Me Away! :) It is over the top of interesting to read the lyrics Linda had written before they were placed with the music maker! Really like what you have done with this Farrell~ Carol Sue 08/18/13 04:14:17PM @Jims Artificial Earth: As you know, Farrell, I heard the demo Girl In Denver and loved it. This is even better! Totally polished, and even more emotion and sincerity comes through. No matter the genre, this is a quality song. I like how you write. You get an idea. And it nags you until you do make it happen. That's why this song has a reason to be... Peace, Jim 08/19/13 05:39:57PM @Gary Hart: Forever Endlessly...Now this is so cool! I So love that fat bottom acoustic Farrell!
