During the holidays, families and friends across Boston and around the world gather to enjoy the spirit of the season. It is a time for reflection, celebration and, for many of us, music! Through carols, hymns, chants, and zemirot, music brings people together. As part of our mission, we strive to use the power of music to build community every day, and so it is appropriate that this extend to the holiday season. The Boston Children's Chorus looks forward to becoming part of the holiday music traditions in the homes of our friends and families, through this recording!

In this recording, we give listeners an opportunity to hear our whole organization - while they are not quite "kids from1 to 92," they do represent a wide range: from 7 to 18. The emerging splendor of the Concert Choir is evident as they open the CD with the familiar carol, "Ding Dong Merrily on High." One cannot help but smile when the Training and Intermediate ensembles sing, hearts full of the spirit of the holidays. Finally, the Premier Choir performs some unfamiliar pieces that are sure to become new holiday favorites. From the Boston Children's Chorus to you - Happy Holidays!
