Feeding Frenzy is a five-member folk outfit from Fairbanks, Alaska. The band is an exercise in polarity - soft melodies and singer/songwriter influenced songs meet high-energy melodious sing-alongs throughout their set. The band, which formed in early 2010, has since been playing shows throughout the state of Alaska and in their home town almost constantly. In March 2011 they traveled to the break-out music scene of the South by South West music festival in Austin, Texas. While there Feeding Frenzy was featured in Paste Magazine's "100 Bands At SXSW" as well as mention in The Atlantic, Austin360, and other news outlets. The band finished up in the studio working with James Bartlett of Fairbanks band The Good Daze on their freshman album, released in September 2011. By December 2011 Feeding Frenzy began their first lower 48 tour around Washington and Oregon, and in March 2012 will be heading back to the streets of Austin.
