简介
Gabriel Kelly is a passionate and adventurous musician living a nomad's life between the mountains and sea. He has has traveled the world learning music and skills for living close to the earth from many indigenous perspectives and ways of life. Since his early childhood, he grew up with native elders, teachers and mentors, which inspires him to give back to the world in many ways. Through his music and primitive skills classes Gabriel inspires people to live a simple and connected life close to the earth. Recently Gabriel became part of a T.V. series on National Geographic Television called "Live Free or Die" in which he lived off the land for 3 months, showing the nation alternative ways to live with nature. In the first season he shares his humorous Pack Rat song about hunting a rat, which was well received though the world. Music was a main ingredient in Gabriel's house growing up. His father's business, Full Circle Drums, creates hand-carved ceramic Middle Eastern Dumbecks. From an early age, Gabriel began playing the Djembe and Dumbeck. Since the age of eight, Gabriel has been a poet, receiving lyrical gifts that came to him like downloads in the late hours of the night by the warm glow of the fire and with soothing waters of the ocean. After a big injury in 2008, Gabriel picked up a guitar and never looked back. His childhood gifts of poetry have now come through as songs that the artist has been writing and performing ever since. He toured Europe and the U.S. with musicians like Shimshai and Katie Grey, and his first album, "The Fire Within," reflects the journey he has been on thus far. His lyrics are poetic and his rhythms bring a sense of peace and connection to his listeners. Enjoy!
