This album is Grace Jones issued one album, of which there are several very good song, but also by the people's favorite.Grace Jones was one of the more unforgettable characters to emerge from New York City's hedonistic Studio 54 disco scene during the late '70s. Born May 19, 1952, in Kingston, Jamaica, Jones studied theater at Syracuse University before launching a career as a model.This album is of course not comprehensive and the most glaring omissions are the brilliant disco anthem I Need A Man and the evocative The Apple Stretching, a beautiful song about New York. At this stage, he best Grace Jones compilation album is the one simply titled The Collection (on Spectrum), with 16 tracks.
