This is a move in direction for Dean as he wanted to create more of a live band vibe. While he still plays all the instruments himself using talented vocalists to add the soul into his lyrics, this is more about his influences from then till now fusing all the genres he has played in such as rock funk soul latin with touches of jazz, this album has it all from heavy brass to soft and lush strings. Its all on here with a twist tracks start out in one direction then end up somewhere else and album outside the box but still a joy to listen to.
