Visit our website www.jatobamusic.net for update tour and music info. This EP was recorded over the course of a weekend in January of 2012 at a small cabin in Northern VT. We used minimal sound equipment: a Zoom R24 Multi-track Recorder Controller, a stereo matched pair of RODE NT1 large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphones, and several Shure SM 57 and 58 microphones. All the songs were recorded in a live fashion, with almost no overdubs. After a brief mix down, the result is a raw, natural sounding set of tunes. We wanted to take a more basic approach to this EP, rather than spend months recording and editing. After the weekend was over, we decided to make it available exclusively online, and to make it free for anyone to download. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!
