Roxy Music meets Pink Floyd in a New York nightclub. christopher rye is a Brighton, UK-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, guitarist, and producer, whose self-produced, BBC Introducing-featured music blends 80s style electronics with dance beats, multi-layered keyboards, and Floydian guitars – a dark pop sound that recalls late-70s Bowie, Scott Walker, the Blue Nile, and Depeche Mode. His songs are set in the nightlife of New York, Tokyo, and Brighton, where lovers meet in the shadows and disappear. Music for outsiders, by an outsider.

• 'Et tu, Babe?', 'Beat-up Car', and 'Splinter Cell' have all received radio and TV airplay in the UK.

• The album is written, performed, and produced by christopher rye, and features guest performances from Emily Swift Jones ('The Metal Detector'), Charley Thearoux ('Love Come Along'), and Julia Garofalo ('Shivers', 'I Tell the Moon').
