Brought up in Lagos, Nigeria as a child, Tubby has always shared a laissez-faire outlook on life inspiring his uplifting and emotive songs; the most passionate of which Keep On is about looking towards the future not taking life too seriously. He grew up listening to pop, jazz, rock and Hip-hop and this mash up of genres can be heard in the lyrically driven melodies of these 2 tracks. He places a strong emphasis on the melody and youre bound to be whistling after one listen. Tubby has worked with the singers Jake Walker and Ash Parkinson on this release and the combination of his full production and the sincere vocal delivery make this release a fine debut for the FWMusic label.
