"Sing To Jesus" is vocalist Mark Tilley's debut solo album; which, for many of his fans, has been long overdue! The songs selected for this project represent a timeline of his eclectic musical journey. Mark has been a blessing to all who have heard him throughout his life. Rarely has he taken part in an event where he has not been requested to share his musical gift. Having grown up with a grand piano and an organ in his living room, Mark Tilley has known no other way to exist. At an early age, he and his sister (the late Teresa Tilley Shippen) would join their mother (the late Alice Thomas Tilley) on live radio broadcasts for local gospel stations from the comfort of their own home. He would later take part in numerous state competitions, festivals and musical productions before going on to college to study music as a profession. While in school, Mark began singing with Dr. Glenn Draper and The Lake Junaluska Singers. This would turn out to be a relationship spanning almost 30 years of incredible music that has "Changed Lives" all over the world! The Glenn Draper Singers' recordings and performances have reached countless people worldwide always sharing the "Good News" of the gospel and extending an invitation into the love of the only Savior, Jesus Christ! Other incredible ensembles Mark Tilley has performed and/or recorded with include: The Chattanooga Singers, Benediction, Crosswind and Brethren. Mark Tilley is currently a part-time freelance musician who leads worship full-time and lives in Clanton, AL with his wife, Rachel, and children- Haley, Karli, Ken, Marshall, GiGi and Shepard.
