简介

Firstly! I'd like to thank everyone who believed in me and supported me throughout this entire recording process. I'm proud to share my first EP with my friends, family and people from all over the world to reach many hearts and make a difference in even the slightest way. I want to thank God for keeping me strong, my family and friends for pushing me, my AMAZING players on the record and of course my South Paw Specials (Dawson, Antonio, and Dreiblatt) who have been diligent in making it happen with me and believing as strong as I have. Thank you Vin Scialla for the collaboration in Whatcha Gonna Say! Thank you to my favorite talented camera man Reggo and Bowie for shooting us an amazing music video of “Can't Go back” ...Hilde and Mr. Gadd, you guys rocked it!Andres thank you for your patience and talent in creating the art work to go behind all of this..So much appreciation to Bunker Studios and the incredible producer on the record, Aaron Nevezie, in creating such a monumental art piece and experience for all of us that we trust you will have after listening as well. I am amazed at how organically all of this came together and it only inspires my crew and I to create that much more and keep going. Thank you guys so much for believing in me and my band each step of the way and I couldn't have done all of this alone...I love each and everyone of you for your support (infinity). So Much Love! xo Lauren Lauren Diamond is a passionate singer/songwriter based out of the New York City area. Diamond recently made a debut on the Occupy This Album record, which featured artists such as: Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, Michael Moore, and many other well known names in the industry. You can find her work for this project that was both written and performed by Lauren by visiting iTunes “We're the 99 (featuring Liz O'Donnell). Miss Diamond mixes talent and dynamic energy with faith and hard work. Lauren made a recent move to Nashville where she got to explore the scene and expand in her songwriting abilities and performed at many hot spots in the Metropolitan area during her stay. Currently, Lauren Diamond is working with a five-piece band on a regular monthly basis who are known as Lauren Diamond & the South Paw Specials and they are recording their 6-track EP at Bunker Studios in Brooklyn, New York and plans on finishing the album at the end of June or July. In addition, Lauren Diamond recently joined forces with the W Hotel in Times Square and created an Open Mic which is headlined and hosted by her band the first Tuesday of each month and known as The One Mic Stand. Lauren is a part of songwriter-circles, music collaborations and many different jam bands to enrich herself into the artist she is today. Lauren Diamond's goal is to be heard through her music by the masses on a global level and make a positive impact through the profound and deep meanings of her lyrics. Many define her art to be a blend between Nora Jones and Mazzy Star with a depth that can't be denied. By the end of the 2013 year, Miss Diamond expects to finish recording her first album in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and hopes for the world to become a part of it. Lauren Diamond was raised in Tampa, Florida and initially moved to New York City at the age of 18 to become an actress. She was always into writing and performing, but didn't quite know how to put a name and focus to her passion in order to connect everything together until she diligently taught herself how to play guitar; that’s when it all became clear. Lauren showed up to many underground smokey venues and sang acapella in order to be heard and asked everyone she knew to teach her how to play guitar and learned from as many people as she could in order to officially play on her own. Freestyle is a huge part of Lauren's experience and that has helped her become the affluent writer she is today in her craft. Lauren believes that persistence and courage are two of the most important qualities in this business to move ahead. Today, Lauren Diamond has well over 30 copy-written songs that are performed on a regular basis. Some popular venues Diamond has made appearances at include: Bitter End, Blue Note, Iridium Jazz Club (performing with Steve Gadd), Rockwood Music Hall, and many others. Lauren Diamond continues to shine like the true Diamond she is and live on strong with her music.
