"Chasing Fireworks" is the third release from Canadian band, North Shore. The 5-song EP is an excellent representation of the growth of the songwriting since last year's full length release, "Moments". Singer and songwriter Jordan McDonald takes us through his songs and stories such as a fictional touch on leaving Earth to create 'space' in a relationship (Space Rocks); his experience with rolling a van in the mountains while on tour (Breathe For This); the battle of the loneliness of being on the road vs. the love of playing music (Same Things); the time he packed everything he owned in his car and left the rain behind (Rainfalls), as well as the struggle of wanting a relationship but dealing with the neurotic behavior it encourages (I Want That).
