简介

OTF MANAGEMENT PRESENTS… Vamp’d Up Ent: Successful Solo, Strongest United - OTF, 2013 While many up-and-coming recording artists may claim to work 24-7, few can boast to living that true vampire lifestyle. When successful solo artists B Watts, T’naj & G IV aligned to form Vamp’d Up Ent, they aimed to grind with their “fangs out” and take a bite out of the game. From their East Tennessee headquarters in Johnson City, Vamp’d Up has spent the last 6 years recording music individually and frequently collaborating. Therefore, the decision to band forces and release projects together under the same imprint was both a logical and natural development. Originally from South Carolina, versatile R&B vocalist T’naj specializes in appealing to a female demographic, yet still maintains the ability to go hard in the paint musically if the record calls for it. Kansas-native G IV, while known for his raw lyrical approach, can also balance tracks out with his well-rounded production. B Watts, the label’s Tennessee-born lyricist, rounds out the collective with an overall style aimed capturing the ears of the industry and radio alike. Drawing influence from such legendary acts as 2Pac, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tech N9ne and Three 6 Mafia, Vamp’d Up has wasted no time in working with many of the most established acts in Tennessee and throughout the South. In addition to TN titans like Lil Wyte, Young Buck, Yo Gotti, Starlito and Project Pat, Vamp’d Up has also shared the stage and opened for Lil Flip, Bloodraw, Afroman, Tay Dizm, Dorrough and most recently, MTV’s Bam Margera. While open to working with artists from all genres and anyone with a successful brand, the ultimate goal of Vamp’d Up Ent is to start their own movement and continue to develop new artists. After dropping the label mixtape Fangs Out Vol 1: Rebourne this past January, their most recent wave of projects includes Bordello 14 by T’naj, Anti-Life Equation EP & LP by G IV, and Altered LP by B Watts. In particular, Altered represents an innovative partnership with the American Cancer Society in which all proceeds from album sales are donated to the longstanding nonprofit. This unique idea arose after B Watts had to cope with the personal tragedy of losing his fiancé to her battle with cancer in October 2012. In addition to featuring the aforementioned Lil Wyte, Starlito and Young Buck, Altered finds B Watts musical brothers T’Naj and G IV lending support both musically and emotionally for a powerful overall effect. It goes without saying; this is truly music with a message. As they approach their upcoming group project for an AUGUST 2013 release and continue to book numerous show dates across the South, it becomes evident that the relentless work ethic of Vamp’d Up Ent is in fact worthy of the vampire tag. Mythically, vampires are known to live forever. Only time will tell what the future holds, but all signs would appear that Vamp’d Ent will be a thriving ensemble for many years to come.
