Yep. Life was good in local rock. But nothing lasts forever. Leaves turn. Musical tastes change. People move away. And until tragedies strike, life goes on for most of us. But life has a funny way of working out. Like Fred Gwynne so hilariously says in Pet Semetary, "They come back.." And as someone dear to us once beautifully said, sometimes we all go back to where we belong. This project is essentially a solo project, lest anybody blame it's lack of intricacy on the musicians playing on it. It's designed to be simple. If we're lucky enough for you to listen to it, there will be parts that will make you say "WHAT?!" But being blessed to have such familiar musical partners, we'll dress it up real pretty for you. No weird time signatures. No diminished chords. It's just front porches, Wal-Mart, redemption, and loss. It's beer, sports. cheap guitars, and whiskey on Wednesday nights. That's about the long and short of it. Now go on. Git.
