Born 10th December 1990 in Milton Keynes, Sahand started singing at age 3 to videos of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey in his parents’ living room. Some years later, they moved to London, where his love for Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder became apparent. Lifts to school introduced him to major influence Freddie Mercury, where his dad’s Queen Live at Wembley tapes would be played on loop. During this period, Sahand could be found with his brothers playing Beatles and Oasis songs on beaten up guitars, as well as more secretively singing and dancing along to Jackson records in his bedroom. His first band Harley was formed at age 12 whilst at school. Sahand’s first foray into live performance ensued at school discos, as well as at local St. Albans venue, The Pioneer. At the age of 16 Sahand decided to embark on piano lessons in order to channel his musical abilities towards something more serious. Finding Andrew M Pisanu on the internet, his first tentative steps into piano playing were taken. Their initial few sessions together soon dissolved and Mozart was promptly forgotten as their evenings together became creative sessions of songwriting, chord sequences, melodies, and lyrics. Most recently, Sahand has been working with an incredible up-and-coming producer, RBKeyz. Together, they have written the Midnight EP, Sahand's first ever release.
