This song is an accumulation of suffering over a span of six years. Through the perspective of myself, I was able to dig deep and view my battle with depression as unbiased as possible. To truly capture the constant push & pull between helplessness and pride, I used a lot of changes in pitch. Although this song was produced/written in the winter of 2016, a lot of the inspiration behind it came from years prior. The track holds heavy influences from artists such as Eyedea, Sadistik, and Mac Miller.
