Fires of October is a new duo with members Kristi Blankenship and Scott Hoffmann. When they were looking for their first song to release, they both wanted something classic and epic. One night Scott was listening to songs when he remembered a re-make of Roy Orbison's song "Crying" recorded with KD Lang. Scott went in the studio the next day and cut all the electric guitars, drums, percussion and bass tracks. He then sent his parts to string master Tim Crouch. The results are as epic and the duo imagined and pre-release versions are getting wonderful reviews.
