Hi, my name is Roger Waynick. I've been writing songs for many years. I actually started in the 7th grade when I wrote my first song as a school project. That attempt got me funny looks from all the boys in my class, giggles from the girls and an "A" on my report card. Man at that time I never dreamed I would be writing and producing my own music. Wow! This CD, "Life-Times, is all about life. I like to write about events that touch the heart and soul of the person listening. Life is never the same, it is always changing, some times for the better and sometimes for the worse. That is what makes our life great. We never know what tomorrow will bring. With out the lows, we could never have highs. That would be like a mountain with no valleys, just can't happen. How sad it would be to get up every day knowing nothing extra special or challenging would happen that day. Can you say BORING? You will also be able to tell I am a Christian as several of my songs are spiritual and of a religious nature, with a kind of country/pop flavor. Yes, kind of unique, that is what everyone keeps telling me, but you be the judge of that. This is not my first CD. I released a CD in 2000 featuring the wonderful voice of Bobby Atkins, a 3 time hall of fame inductee (he is in 3 different Bluegrass Hall of Fames). This CD placed us well in the charts and won me a writers gold album from Nashville. I have surely enjoyed all the music time and wonderful people I have worked with through the years.
