Zeb & The Contortionists is an outsider music group that ranges from 1 to 7 members at a time, Zeb being the only permanant member. Specializing in atonal, deconstructive and generally odd or offensive songs, this music is not for everyone at first, and for some, never is, much like coffee drank black. Similar in sound and lyrical style to the music of Jandek, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Tom Waits, Glenn Branca, and (knowledge of this band was brough to attention after creation of band name) James Chance And The Contortions as well as similiar to the concepts of dada, surreal, and minimalist art forms.
