What began as a long distance writing project between long-time friends Josh Lasseter and Travis Richter soon evolved into this colorful and surprising debut album. Pastel Mute seems to dabble in sunny Brit-rock with their song Beachwoods and you really hear their electronic and alternative rock influences colliding into something new and unexpected with No One Answer. Then they turn around and give us something so soft, haunting, and melodic as "Feeding Frenzy.
