Elijah Sound simmers with original music and incredible live sound. The recipe for this dynamic concoction is the blended talents of Dale Wake, Anthony Reno, Ken Martin and Hesston Johnson. Their music continues to elevate them to true popular status among locals as well as increasing their popularity throughout southwest Missouri. Elijah Sound’s live shows are energetic and inspirational. The group brings a rare blend of a little blues, little jazz, some contemporary, some rock, some punk and some heavy metal to their performances, often developing an excitement among themselves and with the audience. After forming in the summer of 2006, Elijah Sound immediately began pushing for exposure playing concerts, events and battles all over southern Missouri. Continuing on the heavy momentum, on September 9, 2006 Elijah Sound signed with Seventh Avalon Records. A full length LP Production will begin in the winter of 2006-2007 with video production as well to be available. Emerging with immense power from the quiet Midwest, ELIJAH SOUND breathes life into the Christian Rock/Metal scene within the core of the Bible Belt of the United States. Starting in the mid summer of 2006, Guitarist Anthony Reno with Bassist Ken Martin and Vocalist Dale Wake started ELIJAH SOUND with former Drummer Sham Williams. Immediately the band exploded with a multitude of songs and material ranging from blues and jazz to rock, punk and metal. The first performance of ELIJAH SOUND was August 12, 2006. Now only 5 months later, ELIJAH SOUND has booked over 23 performances in over 15 cities and has gained the attention of HMG Music, Illumina Records, Seventh Avalon Records, and tour booking groups in association with the Warped Tour. On September 9, 2006 ELIJAH SOUND signed with Independent Label Seventh Avalon Records. We were seeking the newest multitalented band to work with and found exactly that. The combination of Ken, Dale, Anthony, and Sham established a blistering rock powerhouse that creates a perfect blend of introspective lyrics with intense melodic sound. In October 2006, Drummer Hesston Johnson joined ELIJAH SOUND as Sham Williams resigned the position for other areas of Christian Ministry. Following this, the band gained the attention of HMG Music in Nashville which works with Major Artists of every genre including Christian Music. In November of 2006, our artist ELIJAH SOUND was found by a scout and was contacted by Illumina Records from Boston, MA to participate in a nationwide release of a compilation album and tour. Illumina Records is among the largest Independent Record Labels in the United States and conducts the largest Christian tours of the country. The fall of 2006 brings forth the recording of the debut album of ELIJAH SOUND’s first full length recording. HMG Music will be airing the new album throughout the Midwest this fall and winter.
