This Album is a collection of Soul songs written and produced by an experiential group of New york musicians. The team built the project around the 1990s/early 2000 hip hop NeoSoul sound, and innovated it with dance and pop layers.

Vocalist ILana Martin ("Lalana") soars on this CD, as she recollects moments of love discovered and lost in the wake of her move from Los Angeles to New York. Lalana has a fascinating journey, both a keyboardist and a songwriter, she fashioned her style over years of singing along with vocal greats such as D'Angelo, Barry White and others, and has an impressive integrity to her soulful sound that is hard to find. In tradition with real singers, she hails from the hearty sound of vintage music from the 70s and 80s. The up-to-date subjects she presents in her music makes her songwriting captivating and solid. She has a full-length 13 song album entitled Mood's Wings.
