Mary Minton is an old west cowgirl singing and yodelling authentic Western songs. She learned from the singing of the great Roy Rogers. Appearing on the album with her are the Rust Belt Rounders which include Acie Cargill on guitar and harmony vocals, Dave Dalessandro and Rick Veras on fiddles, Paul Kaye on mandolin, and Tyler Wilson on bass. The young girl getting the yodelling lesson is Abby Teffeteller. Producer is Evelyn Cheruvelil. Charlie Hall is originally from Alabama and wrote the great song Take Me Back To Dixie.. He is an excellent singer and guitarist . He is accompanied here by Mitzi Oden on banjo and harmony vocals, , Grady Grice on fidde, Harold Lamb on harmonica 'and mandolin, Acie Cargill on bass. Acie Cargill wrote the song Picture of Your Face and Hubert Denny wrote Wildflowers on the Hillside. Both songs are used here with permission. Dave Dalessandro is a fine celtic fiddler and is here accompanied by Paul Kaye on guitar and vocals, David James and Kathleen Bluhm on hammered dulcimers, and Gary Gmibula on bass and vocals.
