Music has always been a major part of Mario’s life, and it is evident from the second you meet him that this is his passion. There is something special about attending a Mario Flores show. It's more than a night of great live music and a wild party; it's an experience. Mario has this vibe about him that makes you feel like he's a friend you’ve known forever. Mario formed the SodaCreek band in 2007, and has quickly become known throughout the state of Texas. At a Sodacreek show you will hear the true spirit of Texas Music that Mario incorporates into his writing and original Texas Country Music sound. Mario and his band have performed all over Texas, and in many of the surrounding states, including many of the legendary venues. Mario has also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with dozens of talented artists such as George Strait, Wade Bowen, Kevin Fowler, Aaron Watson, John Conlee, Johnny Bush, Earl Thomas Connely, Tracy Lawrence, Clay Walker, Rick Trevino, John Pardi, Stoney Larue, Whiskey Myers and many more. Mario released his first album, ʻFighting the Foolʼ in 2010. This album made an impression larger than Mario’s boots, with 3 singles hitting the Texas Music Charts. It also earned a spot in the Top 200 Downloads of All Time on CDTex.com. All great accomplishments for an independent Hispanic artist funding his own way. ʻI Didn’t Pick this Lifeʼ, the sophomore album from Mario, was released in summer of 2012. Prior to the release, Mario and the Sodacreek Band were voted ʻBest Country Band of the Yearʼ at the San Antonio Music Awards. This album has been a huge success with the album ending 2013 with three top 10 singles, two reaching the top 5. “Let Your Lonesome End With Me” ended its 2013 run at #2 just 12 spins from the #1 spot. 2014 has already been a stellar year for Mario. The album has now successfully scored 4 consecutive top 10 singles, with "Got A Bad Feeling” earning Mario his first #1 on the Texas Radio charts recently. In addition, he performed for the Texas Regional Radio Awards show The highly anticipated follow up "Almost Famous" is a true reflection of Marios maturity and will be the album to take him to that net level
