Singer-songwriter Josh Colyer, was inspired to begin writing in his later high school years. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Josh recently moved to Nashville to pursue a career in the music industry. With inspiration from artists such as Jon Foreman, Dave Barnes, and Ben Rector, Josh’s music incorporates a pop rock style with themes of life speculations and relationships. In a “flash unsigned” session on Twitter, former editorial director Bill Werde reviewed Josh’s music stating, “ Good writer; checked out other cuts on EP. Reminds of Matt Nathanson.” With aspirations to make a career out of writing and playing his music, Josh also looks forward to co-writing with other great artists and releasing new albums.
