Kayla Bogan is an up and coming artist in the Hard Rock and Epic Music scene, taking after artists such as Two Steps from Hell and E.S Posthumus. Her sound is combing the orchestra and a drumset to create a musical vision no one has heard yet. An eighteen year old singer/songwriter/actress born and raised in Brick Town, New Jersey. She started singing and performing at the age of six, getting involved with theatre and local events. She also got the opportunity to perform in two original musicals, including: three leading roles in the original rock opera, Day After Day, and a Teen Girl in the NYC based original show Horace Vanderveer performed at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Kayla was fortunate enough to sing alongside American Idol Season 3 runner-up, Diana Degarmo in the Hartford, CT. performance of Brooklyn the Musical. She also opened up for American Idol finalist Antonella Barba at The Downtown in Red Bank, NJ. Kayla first got involved in recording at the age of 12, when she recorded a song on Bill Pere's CD, Dare to Dream, on Itunes, which benefited the homeless. Continuing with recording, this past February she recorded vocals on a world music album entitled, The Kitu Sua Project, written and composed by Eric Andrade. The album is available on Itunes and all proceeds go to Action Against Hunger. Currently, Kayla is living in St. Paul Minnesota.
