Warm is a song I wrote in 11th grade when I was home alone with a sore throat. I loved the newfound raspiness of my voice and I liked the way it sounded as I scatted along to a simple chord progression. I was so comfortable, sitting at my kitchen table with some hot chocolate wearing pajamas--that word.. "warm" captured how I was feeling amidst the richness of the guitar while the rest of the house was silent.

I sing "warm" very softly, and at first this was just because I really didn't have much of a voice to work with while I was writing it--but over some time, I realized that the soft spoken tone of the song fits best with it's meaning. As a HS senior in 12th grade, I transposed this into a four part choral piece for Ardsley High School's choir with the help of one very talented Julia Pernicone (a band manager and music biz extroadinaire!). I hope you love the song.. and that listening to it will keep you "Warm"..
