Dedicated to my Father, and to all the wounded warriors like him who returned from war forever changed. Like many of his generation, my Dad did not talk about his experiences. He hated conflict and was so upset with my Mom's and my arguments over practicing the piano that while my Mom and I were in Oklahoma visiting my Grandmother in the summer of 1962, he sold it. After seeing how hard it is for even the most incredibly talented musicians to make a living, I now have to count the piano sale as one of the many blessings he bestowed upon me. As I wrote in the song titled "Wounded Warrior" it is true, some of the wounds you never see, some of the wounds they won't let you see. My Father finally experienced healing in the early 1970s when he was able to personally than Dr. John Sanders, the Australian physician who saved his life on the beach in Borneo in May of 1945. Please pray for and lend a hand to all of our wounded warriors and their families.
